March 1, 2022 – The C-FREE team attended Zero Discrimination Day event held at the Ozone Foundation Harm Reduction Center in Nonthaburi. Organised by Ozone Foundation, the event also saw representatives of the Ministry of Public Health, UNODC, UNAIDS and UNDP in attendance.
Zero Discrimination Day is observed annually on March 1 to promote equality in law and practice, and to combat discrimination particularly against people living with HIV/AIDS. This year’s theme is ‘Remove laws that harm, create laws that empower’.
At the event, representatives and guests discussed their role in ensuring no one is left behind, as well as making a pledge to work towards zero discrimination and inclusive health services.
Dr Nicolas Durier and Dr Tanyaporn Wansom also led guests to tour C-FREE Krungthep-Nonthaburi clinic, which is located at the Ozone Harm Reduction Center.
