WHA visited C-FREE site, BMA New Step Clinic, Ladprao, Bangkok

On 24 November 2025, the World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA) visited the C-FREE site, BMA New Step Clinic, Ladprao, Bangkok, in preparation for site visits to be organized during the World Hepatitis Summit (WHS), which will take place in Bangkok in April 2026.
World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA) is an international non-governmental organisation best known for advocating and raising awareness for viral hepatitis elimination. The organisation represents 337 members from 102 countries worldwide. WHA's international network of organisations leads the fight against hepatitis globally.
The World Hepatitis Summit (WHS) is an international conference organized to advance the hepatitis agenda. It provides a platform for exchanging ideas, experiences, and best practices in addressing the challenges of viral hepatitis. It is the only major event focused on a public health approach to combating and eliminating viral hepatitis.
In 2026, Thailand will host the World Hepatitis Summit 2026 in Bangkok from 28-30 April 2026.
New Step Clinic Ladprao, an agency under the Office of Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Health Department of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), is a community health service center, responsible for providing medical and public health services at the primary level, and is a partner organization jointly carrying out the C-FREE-CSEA study project.
