The PDP Funders Group visited C-FREE Samrong, Samut Prakan Province

On September 30, 2025, representatives of the PDP Funders Group visited the C-FREE-CSEA study site of Samrong in Samut Prakan Province near Bangkok, run with our partner Raks Thai Foundation, to observe the implementation of the model of care project. Dr. Nicolas Durier, General Director & Principal Investigator of C-FREE, Kritsanai Yingyuen, Study and Laboratory Coordinator, and the Raks Thai Foundation team welcomed the group of visitors.

The PDP Funders Group (PFG) was set up by several public and private organizations providing financial support to develop health technologies for preventing, diagnosing, or treating diseases of poverty.

The group of visitors included representatives of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), KfW Development Bank, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Global Health Innovative Technology Fund, Gates Foundation, Wellcome, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi).
