C-FREE-CSEA Khon Kaen province activated.

A site initiation meeting on the cooperation network in Khon Kaen province to prepare for the start of a new round of C-FREE-CSEA research projects on July 6, 2023.

The C-FREE team, Dreamlopments Foundation, in collaboration with ACTTEAM Khon Kaen and the support from Khon Kaen Hospital led by Dr. Paisarn Trisirichok the site Principal Investigator, organized the activation of the C-FREE-CSEA study.

On July 7, 2023, the first participant was screened and commenced hepatitis C treatment with a combination of Sofosbuvir and Ravidasvir.

With the same standard as other C-FREE sites, testing services for hepatitis B, HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STI), and latent tuberculosis (LTBI) are available and ready to transfer to referral hospitals or research centers if the infection is diagnosed.
